Our Dreckly Woods home ed sessions run as two groups, designed to meet children where they are — whether they are little woodland explorers discovering the outdoors, or older children ready to develop practical Forest School skills.

Younger or less confident children
Our Dinkies sessions are child-led, play-based and lots of fun, giving younger children the freedom to explore the woodland at their own pace in a safe, supportive and SEND-inclusive environment.

Dreckly Discoverers

Older or more confident children
Our Discoverers sessions are designed for older, more confident children who are ready to get stuck into practical Forest School skills and take on bigger challenges — while still keeping things fun, relaxed and inclusive.

There’s also the option to complete a Dreckly Passport, checking off skills and tracking progress as children become more confident and independent.

Our woodland sessions are designed to be inclusive and supportive of children with SEND, with activities that can be adapted to individual needs, abilities and confidence levels.

What to bring, and what to wear
Please send your child dressed for outdoor activities in all weather conditions.
- Sturdy footwear or wellington boots
- Long trousers and long sleeves
- Waterproof coat and trousers
- Suncream applied before the session, and a sun hat
- Snacks and named drinks bottles
